Close home!!! So happy to have them near me, they are so good. Originally went to 3rd and La Cienega, yum! Manager is awesome and remembered our order word for word. Super sweet and energetic.
The food is so yummy! Combos are a great option and they are not expensive. (Sell thai tea)
Will definitely keep coming back! -

Momota Ramen House is one amongst many casual eateries found on Figueroa. Hungry students and fraternity kids litter the streets in search of sustenance. In one of those plazas, you'll find a little Ramen Shop.
Their menu offers up traditional ramen items, appetizers, sushi rolls and rice dishes. Their combo is an especially great deal because they give you both items of your choice at the regular size! So you can only imagine how I was extremely surprised by the amount of food that was in front of me.
Their combo is definitely a great deal, you can easily share everything and leave very full! The ramen broth is well seasoned and flavored nicely. It's not blow your taste buds good, but it will definitely satisfy your ramen craving! The beef bowl was very big, but did not have the right beef to rice ratio. I had a lot of rice leftover but it was still delicious.
Enjoyable meal if you're in the area, but not a place you would purposely make a trip for. -

We walk in around 1:30pm. We wanted to seat by the entrance. But they didn't let us seat
Finally we seated
They served some cup of water. We wait like 10min
Nobody came to take the order.
A couple got in. They took their order right away.
That's my personal experience.
Bad experience!!!!
I hope they improve their customers services. -

Horrible service, lack of manner on the server here is just a joke.
We came in around 6:50 and needed to literally come half way the restaurant to be noticed and seated.
We get seated at the bar and they server Jesus, never offered us a drink. Which is a big red flag.
We had to hunt the server down to place our order.
We order the chicken ship ramen and hakata tonkotsu ramen with the combo.
30 minutes later finally our food arrives..... they forgot the salad of the combo and the fried rice from the combo is horrible! Very bland and poorly prepared.
When my husband went to pay and told Jesus that our sale never arrived, he said and I quote " I can take the salad out, it's free anyway"
My husband asked if there was anything he could do, he said "nothing"
We just paid and left, NEVER to return here.
Please don't bother coming here if you are looking to have a good meal. -

In terms of ramen places near USC I will say the best! However it is also the worst...because it's the only ramen place near USC
Located in a small shopping mall across the street from Northern Cafe and the 9-0 bar, is this wonderful ramen joint that holds maybe 20-25 people..with a handful of bar seats
The broth was solid as it tasted like it had spent a lot of time simmering in pork bone, but the noodles were terrible. Tasted like it came out of prepackaged mass production. I would say that sufficient for a ramen place 5years ago, but I feel like everyone else has stepped up their game. The broth can carry the meal, but can't be accommodated with mediocre noodles that don't carry the body of the broth when you take a bite!
If you're around the area and need your noodle fix, hit this place up, but with Japantown right down the street, grab a scooter make the extra trip
